Rhododendron Wren
Rhododendron Wren. Evergreen dwarf hybrid which produces in abundance beautiful trusses of funnel shaped clear yellow coloured flowers. It has Attractive reddish young growths. With a Max Height 20cm and a Max Spread of 40cm. Flowers April to May. Makes an attractive addition to the border.

Plant in moist acidic well drained soil in a sheltered site. Full sun / Partial shade. Hardy.
Dead head after flowering, Mulch to keep roots cool. Prune after flowering if required to keep shape.
General Rhododendron Planting and care
- Water the pot thoroughly and allow to drain fully.
- Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base. Adding a bucketful of planting compost.
- Remove the pot, if the Rhododendron is well rooted cut off the pot.
- Ensure that the top of the Root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
- Replace the remaining soil and heel in, water the Rhododendron and area thoroughly
- Water regular until Rhododendron is established.
- Apply some general fertiliser every spring.
