Carex Bowls Golden
Carex Bowls Golden. Brilliant ornamental grass which is perfect for brightening up and adding interest to shaded areas. It can also be used to fill gaps in borders and for planting by water. Rich, yellow leaves are eye-catching in. These are edged in green but can end up looking slightly bleached if grown in intense sun. Potential height and spread of 75cm by 45cm.
Plant in light wet fertile soil. Full sun to partial shade, Fully hardy.
General Ornamental Grass Planting care
- Water the pot thoroughly and allow to drain fully.
- Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base. Adding some planting compost.
- Remove the pot gently, if well rooted cut off the pot.
- Ensure that the top of the Root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
- Replace the remaining soil and heel in, water the area thoroughly.
- Water regular until established.
- Apply some general fertiliser every spring.
