Hemerocallis Mary Todd

 

Hemerocallis Mary Todd, Daylily. Wonderful bright yellow flower with a green throat. Lightly ruffled and crimped. With dark green foliage, Reach a height of 26" and a of 23-29". Blooms from May through July, with outstanding colour and is a definite rebloomer. There are many blooms on strong stems that rise above tall grassy foliage Considered to be pest and deer resistant. Use for cut flowers, massing, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.

 

 

 

Plant in well drained soil. Full sun, Hardy

 

General Herbaceous & Perennial Planting and care

  • Water the pot thoroughly and allow to drain fully.
  • Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base. Adding some planting compost.
  • Remove the pot gently, if well rooted cut off the pot.
  • Ensure that the top of the Root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
  • Replace the remaining soil and heel in, water the area thoroughly.
  • Water regular until established.
  • Apply some general fertiliser every spring.
