Geranium Sea Spray
Geranium Sea Spray, Hardy Geranium, Cransbill. An attractive Herbaceous geranium forming a large mound of bronzy-green leaves with pretty pale pink flowers with a green throat. Ideal for borders, Rock gardens and for screening. Max Height 1.2m. Max Spread 60cm. Flowers June to September. Dead head after flowering, Divide and replant every 2-3 yrs.
Plant in well drained soil. Full sun / partial shade, Hardy. Mulch to keep roots cool. Cut back flowered shoots to encourage new growth.
General Herbaceous & Perennial Planting and care
- Water the pot thoroughly and allow to drain fully.
- Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base. Adding some planting compost.
- Remove the pot gently, if well rooted cut off the pot.
- Ensure that the top of the Root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
- Replace the remaining soil and heel in, water the area thoroughly.
- Water regular until established.
- Apply some general fertiliser every spring.
