Dierama Lancelot
Dierama Lancelot, New Angel's Fishing Rod. Looks well planted beside your pond or in a bog garden. Has lovely lush green strap-like foliage with long pendulous flower stems with clusters of pink flowers hanging down at the end, just like the bend of a fishing rod. Grows to 1 metre and flowers June to August.

Plant in moist fertile ericaceous soil. Keep in a cold glasshouse with plenty of ventilation over the winter ready for planting out in the Spring.
General Herbaceous & Perennial Planting and care
- Water the pot thoroughly and allow to drain fully.
- Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base. Adding some planting compost.
- Remove the pot gently, if well rooted cut off the pot.
- Ensure that the top of the Root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
- Replace the remaining soil and heel in, water the area thoroughly.
- Water regular until established.
- Apply some general fertiliser every spring.
